Vandy Josef Crawford Obituary
Vandy Josef Crawford was a son, a brother, a father, a friend and mostly family to many. Vandy enjoyed family, sports, video games, traveling, music, cooking and comedy. He was born and raised in Evanston, attending Washington, King Lab and Evanston Township High School, where he began forming long lasting connections.
He was the youngest of three. Vandy and his siblings, Don and Lia, often composed music together with a keyboard, lyrics, and drum beats on a nearby surface. Vandy was an avid lover of music, especially Jay-Z, JadaKiss, and Tupac. He also loved to laugh and stay in good spirits by watching comedians, sharing comedic posts, or cracking jokes with his loved ones.
Vandy was an excellent freehand sketch artist, with a strong desire to pursue a career in architecture when he was younger. He loved food, especially his mom's, turning this love into a 15-year career in hospitality / food service.
Vandy regularly surrounded himself with love, especially from close friends who regularly supported him following the loss of his brother. He will be missed by many.
