Stephen Calven (aka Steve) Cater
Stephen Calven "Steve aka Spice" Cater, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025. He was born October 25, 1966 in Chicago Illinois to Gene and Alice Cater.
Stephen graduated from Sullivan High School in Chicago IL . He worked and managed multiple restaurants doing what he loved to do, which was cook.
Our beloved family member enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends and cooking.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his children: Alex, James, Spencer, Eric, Stephen Jr, Christopher, and Jalen; as well as 10 grandchildren.
His brothers Jason& Lori Boothe, Brian & Eve Boothe, Kenneth & Marybell Boothe.
He leaves behind a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Niece, Nephews and Life Long Friends to live on and remember and rejoice in the memories that he provided each and every one of them.
Stephen will be truly missed by family and friends.
