Ruth Marie Weller passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019. She passed peacefully in her home in Northbrook, Illinois. She was the beloved wife of late Walter Weller. She leaves behind four children, Karl, Eric, Lisa (husband Mike), and Paul (wife Erin) as well as five grandchildren, Cody, Jazz, Mark, Connor, and Teagan. They will miss her dearly. She enjoyed immersing herself in culture. She was a fan of art and theatre and could often be found with a book in her hand. She traveled extensively and remained very active until the last few years of her life. She participated in multiple groups including silver sneakers and library based book clubs. She had received her Master’s Degree at Northwestern University after doing an undergraduate program at Oberlin College. She was a school teacher until she left teaching to care for her family but, later returned to Roycemore School in Evanston in an administrative capacity.
