Rodica Hallagan Obituary
Rodica Hallagan, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on May 13, 2025 at the home of her son and granddaughters, surrounded by her loving family.
Rodica was born on July 21, 1940, in Târgu Mureș, Romania, the daughter of Dumitru and Silvia Greculescu. As the daughter of a lifelong Romanian military service man and a homemaker, she was raised in a modest home with strong family and community values. Seeking freedom from the regime of Nicolae Ceaușescu, Rodica emigrated to the United States, where she became a proud US citizen, worked as a dedicated telemetry nurse for 35 years, and was a devoted supporter and loving wife to her late husband, Boyd Hallagan.
Rodica leaves behind a legacy of love for music, moderation, empathy, and kindness, which lives on in her son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
A brief service will be held at All Saints Cemetery on Saturday May 17, 2025, followed by a reception at her son and daughter-in-law’s home. In accordance with her wishes, no flowers or donations are necessary.
