Roberto Cardenas Lara, 70 of Evanston, passed away Thursday July 20, 2023 at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines. He was born Monday June 1, 1953 in Celaya, Guanajuato Mexico, the son of Petronilo Cardenas and Esther Cardenas, nee Lara. Beloved husband of Estela, nee Renteria. Survivors also include his daughter Daisy Cardenas and son Ceasar. Visitation 4-8pm Monday July 24, 2023 at St Nicholas Church, 806 Ridge Avenue, Evanston IL 60202. Funeral mass 10am Tuesday, July 25th. Interment Maryhill Cemetery, 8600 North Milwaukee Avenue, Niles IL; Grave 2, Lot 20, Block 5, Section 29.
