Born July 9, 1933 in Evanston IL. Died September 6, 2024.

Married to A. Eugene (Gene) Dover on August 5, 1953 and were married for 62 years.  They raised their two sons in Evanston and retired to the Ozarks. Nancy later moved back to IL to be with family.

Nancy worked with Gene at his moving company and then later worked at H&R block until she retired after 30+ years. Nancy loved her cats and showed cats with her sister Susie for many decades. Nancy loved to read books and was an avid collector. Nancy also had a multitude of pen pals worldwide that she wrote to daily until recently.

Nancy is survived by her oldest son Stephen Dover and his wife Marsha along with their 4 children: Kevin (Kerrie) De Volder, Kristopher (Samantha) Dover, Karianne (Ronald) Subgrunski and Keith Dover.  She is also survived by her grandson Jeremy Dover and her 4 great grandchildren: Mackenzie De Volder, Devlin Dover, Elsie Dover and Lillian Dover.

She is preceded in death by her husband A. Eugene (Gene) Dover, her sisters Susie Burrows and Judy Streiff, along with her youngest son Phillip Dover and wife Donna.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at The Carrington at Lincolnwood, 3501 Northeast Parkway, Lincolnwood IL 60712
