Kim passed away suddenly on January 12, 2023 leaving behind a life unfinished. Kim led a full life which started with family. She is survived by her fiancé Stewart, her mother Char, her brother Todd, cousins, sisters-in-law, and 6 nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her father Bruce and brother Jeff.
She went to Indiana University and got her MBA from Northwestern University. She spent her early career working in the corporate world supporting change management. She switched gears and joined the family accounting firm with her brother. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Kim spread her wings and opened her own firm.
She embraced life and made the most of her short time here. Kim loved travel and was always up for a trip. She traveled to Japan as an exchange student and the travel bug never left her. She was so lucky to have a diverse bank of travel experiences and was hard pressed to call a trip or place her favorite. She relished her time at the family lake house and a full house filled with friends and family. She found love after a college friendship grew to love and was recently planning her wedding.
Her fur babies were so important to her and she was often the rescuer and devoted care giver. Her most important role was being an aunt and she loved her nieces and nephews fiercely and shared so many fun memories and travels with them as well. She loved cross stitch and has gifted her beautiful work to many. Kim was a voracious reader and loved to escape in a good book. Her infectious laugh will be missed the most.
