A veteran and a retired Lieutenant of Chicago Fire Department Engine 43, he was born November 7, 1937 in Chicago, the son of Floyd Rae and Violet Rae, nee Hobus. Beloved husband of Katherine; loving father of Kevin(Alice) and Kelly(Luis)Sanabria; proud grandfather of Angelica, Andrianna, Robert and Violet. Interment private. Memorial service was held Saturday, January 19, 2019. Arrangements entrusted to Evanston Funeral & Cremation, Roland F. Weis director.
