Josefa B. Montenegro, 91 of Wilmette, passed away Monday May 11, 2020 at the Roseland Community Hospital in Chicago. She was born Sunday, August 26, 1928 in Puentes Grandes, a neighborhood in the municipality of Playa, Havana in Cuba. Beloved wife of the late Elio Montenegro. Loving mother of Elio Montenegro of Wilmette and Ruben Montenegro of Davie, Florida. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date. Private interment in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston (Section I, Block 20, Lot 9, Grave 3). Arrangements entrusted to Evanston Funeral & Cremation, Roland F. Weis director.
