He was born Thursday March 23, 1933 in Guaynabo Puerto Rico, the son of Justo Diaz and Conrade Diaz, nee Rivera. Beloved husband of the late Maria Mercedes Diaz, who passed away April 21, 2020. Loving father of Nancy Diaz of Chicago. Visitation 9:30 am Wednesday October 25, 2023 until time of funeral mass, 10:30 am, at St. John Cantius Church, 825 North Carpenter Street, Chicago. Interment Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 2755 West 111th Street, Chicago IL 60655. Burial in Grave 11, Lot 2, Block 9, Section 59. Arrangements entrusted to Evanston Funeral & Cremation, Roland F.
