Joan Meier Obituary

Joan Meier, 88 of Chicago, passed away Tuesday April 28,2020 at the St. Francis Hospital in Evanston from complications of COVID-19. Resident of the Atrium in Chicago for the last 14 years. Retired from the Chicago SunTimes after an over 40-year career. She was born Saturday August 22, 1931 in Aberdeen South Dakota, the daughter of John Joseph Meier and Elizabeth Meier, nee Hansen. She is survived by her brother John Edward (Dorothy) Meier of Normal Illinois. Private interment in Normal Illinois. Arrangements entrusted to Evanston Funeral & Cremation, Roland F. Weis director.
