James Joseph Murphy, 87 of Northbrook, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday February 7, 2022. He was born Wednesday April 18, 1934 in Chicago, the son of James Joseph Murphy and Dorothy Murphy, nee O'Brien. He is survived by his brother, Donald Murphy of Chicago and by his niece, Jacqueline Pacione of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas K. Murphy. Private interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1400 South Wolf Road in Hillside; Section L, Lot SS-13, Block 10, Grave 2. Arrangements entrusted to Evanston Funeral & Cremation, Roland F. Weis director.
