An Army veteran of WWII, he was born February 22, 1927 in Chicago, the son of Frank and Genevieve Turek. He his survived by his wife, Marie G. Turek and by his niece Melanie(Tim)Adkins of Florida and nephew Carlos Carbonell of Miami Florida.
