Emmanuel Benitez Ascano, 54 of Evanston, passed away Wednesday August 17, 2022 at the Evanston Hospital. He was born Wednesday November 29, 1967 in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, a densely populated bayside city on the island of Luzon. Beloved son of Teopisto R. Ascano and Shirley E. Ascano, nee Benitez. Loving brother of Antoinette A. Flores of Easton Pennsylvania. Manny worked as an Aseptic Technician for the Evanston Hospital. Private interment will occur later in the Philippines. Arrangements entrusted to Evanston Funeral & Cremation, Roland F. Weis director.
