Donald Clarence Swanson, 90 of Lake Zurich, formerly of Evanston, passed away at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville IL on Friday, October 19, 2018, exactly nine years to the day after the passing of his wife, Charmayne Alyce Swanson nee Jacobson in 2009. He was born Monday, January 16, 1928 in Darwin Minnesota, the son of Oscar William Swanson and Selma Swanson, nee Rudquist. Retired remodeling carpenter, he served in the US Army from 1951 to 1953.
