Dennis Fredric Schenn, Sr., 78, passed away in his home in Schaumburg, Illinois on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 surrounded by his wife and adopted family. He was born in Pittsburg, PA on May 29, 1942 to George and Sylvia Paanan Schenn.

Dennis was predeceased by his father and mother; brother, Clifford Schenn; and daughter, Deborah Y. Schenn Nolan.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Jean Hostnick Gordon Schenn, sons Dennis (Sara) Schenn Jr., John (Chris) Schenn; nephews Robert and Dan Schenn; stepchildren Debra (Al) Gordon Jefferson, John (Renee) Gordon, Rosanne Gordon Pascascio, and Patrick Gordon; 13 grandchildren, (Nicole, Nolan, Cory, Amber, Leta, Mandy, Krissa, Tommy, Deanna, Jessica, Joshua, Jacob, Jerrod) and 21 great grandchildren. His best friend and confident, cousin Paul Haffenbrach. If anyone has been missed, we apologize in advance.

He enjoyed going into Facebook and giving everyone a hard time. Thanks to all of you for your humor and patience with him. He will be greatly missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, TBD.
