Dale Alan Kendrick, 93 of Libertyville, passed away Sunday May 10, 2026 at his home. He was born Saturday July 16, 1932 in Chicago, the son of John Maxwell Kendrick and Mabel Irene Kendrick, nee Vaughn. Dale was the owner and operator of Barnaby's Pizza, located at Touhy and Wolf in Des Plaines from 1969 to 2023. Father of Wendy Kendrick of Nyack, New York, and Dean Kendrick of Long Beach, California. He was enlisted and served in the US Army, stateside, during the Korean War, from 1950-1953. Grandfather of Robin Kendrick of New York City and Jamie (William) Kendrick Morris of Chicago. Family will receive friends on Saturday May 23, 2026 from 10:00 am until 12 Noon at Simkins Funeral Home, 6251 Dempster Street, Morton Grove IL 60053. Burial will be private.
