Christopher Moyer Obituary

Christopher Joseph Moyer, 47, of Chicago passed away peacefully at his home on July 23, 2018. Chris is survived by his loving family, including his mom, Beverly, his sister, Teri, his brothers, Mike and Steve, his sister-in-law, Caroline, nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins and his fiancé , Lorna. He was precede in death by his dad, Mike. He leaves behind many friends from across the country.

Chris was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 12, 1970. He and his family lived in Centerville Ohio and Clifton Park, New York before moving to Arlington Heights Illinois in 1981. Chris graduated from Buffalo Grove High School in 1989 and obtained a degree in engineering from Southern Illinois University in 1994.

Chris enjoyed the outdoors (he was an avid fisherman), music (he was a self-taught guitarist) and spending time with his family and friends. He lived life on his own terms - cherishing personal relationships and the natural world around him over career ambition and material things. He will be lovingly and joyously remembered by all who knew and loved him.

There will be a dinner and reception on Sunday, July 29th. The dinner will be served at 5:00 pm at Trattoria DOC, 706 Main Street, Evanston and then we will move next door to the Cultivate Urban Rainforest around 6:30 pm for drinks, desert, music and memories.

Arrangements entrusted to Evanston Funeral & Cremation, Roland F. Weis director. Condolence and guestbook at evfuneral.com
