Carmen M. Marth, age 89 of Evanston, passed away on October 15, 2021. She was born in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of Dr. Alfredo Marth and Blanca Milla de Marth. She is survived by two sisters, Graciela and Blanca, 9 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews and many life-long friends. Carmen loved family and friends deeply, was a source of strength for all, unconditionally kind and generous to anyone in her path. She lived out her Catholic faith. She was a reserved person with a natural finesse and charisma and an extraordinary zest for life. She had a long career in the legal field in Chicago and later relocated to Miami redirecting her career to banking. She retired and thereafter, pursued an entrepreneurial endeavor which provided assistance to elderly friends and acquaintances. Our beloved Tia will be greatly missed and forever in the hearts of the many people whose lives she touched.
Memorial service reserved for family. Memorial contributions may be sent to Catholic Charities in Chicago or http://www.catholiccharities.net/donate, who assisted in her family's emigration. Interment private. Arrangements entrusted to Evanston Funeral & Cremation, Roland F. Weis director. Info 847 866-8843, condolence and guestbook at evanstonfuneral.com
