Brett Joseph Winandy

Brett Joseph Winandy, 56 of Glenview, passed away suddenly on Friday February 11, 2022 at the Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. He was born Wednesday April 14, 1965 in Skokie, the son of Peter Henry Winandy II and Raetta Winandy, nee Santler. Beloved husband of Donna Winnandy. Loving father of Jesse Causey, Joe Winandy and Jamie Winandy. Dear brother of Karen (Bill) Dowlingthe late Blair (Terri) Winandy and the late Peter H. Winandy III. Fond uncle of Kim (George) Kinsley, Ben Winandy, and the late Brian Winandy.

If Brett wasn’t working he was hunting, fishing, or spending time with his friends or family. He was friends with everyone. He always talked to his buddies every day on the phone about work and their lives as he sat with his friend Peter (the dog) on the couch and watched The Riflemen  or Gunsmoke. 

Visitation 10:00 am Friday February 18, 2022 until time of Memorial Mass, 11:00 am, at St. Catherine Laboure, 3535 Thornwood Avenue, Glenview IL 60025. Interment private.

Sadly longtime parishioner, Brett Winandy, passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2022. Staff and I at St. Catherine Labouré offer our deepest heartfelt condolences to the family of Brett, especially his wife Donna and their children. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
 
Brett’s funeral mass will be held Friday, February 18th at 11 am at St.Catherine Laboure with visitation one hour before the mass. Please consider donating to the Go Fund Me set up to help cover some of the funeral expenses for the family.
