Viktor Bylaitis, 71 of Evanston, passed away June 22, 2019 at the Grove Living & Rehab Center in Evanston. He was born March 31, 1948 in Kühlungsborn, a resort town on Germany's Baltic Sea coast. It's known for its long sandy beach and the Seebrücke Kühlungsborn pier. Parallel to the beach, the Ostseeallee promenade is lined with ornate, early-1900s villas. Inland, the Kühlung is a forested ridge offering views from the summit of Diedrichshagener Mountain. He was the son of Andrius Bylaitis and Ona Bylaitis, nee Lungas. Brother of Valdemaras Bylaitis of Lemont; uncle of Andreas Bylaitis of Aachen Germany, Daniela Bylaitis of Lemont and Tom Bylaitis of New Lenox. Services Private.
