Robert Pfutzenreuter

Robert “Bob” Pfutzenreuter, 88 of Evanston, formerly of Glencoe and Wilmette, Illinois, passed Friday, July 26, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Katrina, in 2008. He was born February 1, 1931 at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, the son of Henry Pfutzenreuter and Randi Pfutzenreuter, nee Sand. Father of  Bill (Linda), Nancy (Blaine Houmes), Judy, Joan (Bruce) Keene, Kathy (Mike) Hogan, Cathy (Erik) Johnson, and George (Rachel); grandfather to 14; great grandfather to 1.  He served his country as a paratrooper during the Korean Conflict, received his bachelors degree from Northwestern University and had worked in sales for Sears, Roebuck and Company. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at First Congregational Church of Wilmette, 1125 Wilmette Avenue, Wilmette, Illinois 60091.  Interment Private.
