Rafael Alirio Barrera, Sr., 67 of San Antonio Texas and Evanston Illinois passed away Friday July 6, 2018 in Evanston. He was born Sunday October 29, 1950 in Suchitoto, a town set in the mountains of El Salvador's Cuscatlán department, overlooking Lago Suchitlan, a large lake with boats and migratory birds and highlighted by it's mid-1800's colonial architecture. He was the son of Jose Alirio Barberra and Mercedes Marinero Barberra. Father of Rafael(Liza) of El Paso Texas, Francisco of Evanston, Guillermo(Adriana) of San Antonio Texas and Marjorie(Cecil) of Managua Nicaragua. Grandfather of 7. A Funeral Mass celebrated by Fr.
