Frances Ruth Eakin, 83 of Chicago, passed away Christmas Eve morning, December 24, 2018 at the Grove of Evanston. She graduated high school in Philadelphia PA and was a retired server with expertise in fine dining. She had worked at the Standard Club and the Drake Hotel as well as the Northmoor Country Club. Her hobbies had included gardening and collecting antiques. A graveside service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Montrose Cemetery, 5400 North Pulaski Road, Chicago.
