Brierly Wadsworth Anderson, Jr.

Brierly W. Anderson, Jr. (known as BJ), age 46, died from a sudden illness on August 10, 2018 in Evanston, IL with family by his side.

Born in 1972 in Evanston, IL to Brigitte, nee Knitter, Anderson and the late Brierly Anderson, Sr., BJ was a life long Evanston resident. He graduated from Evanston Township High School in 1990 and Ohio Wesleyan University in 1994, where he was a member of SAE fraternity. BJ followed his father's interests and was involved in financial markets and investments.

BJ was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing meals in the company of neighbors and friends. He was fond of music, particularly live concerts. BJ loved Torch Lake, MI where he spent time outdoors and at the family cottage. Family heritage was important to BJ. He enjoyed traveling to Germany and researching family history. More than anything, BJ loved his dog Chance, who was constantly by his side.

He is survived by his mother Brigitte; his three sisters Debbie (Rod) Bosma, Erika Anderson and Becca (Neal) Huntington; and by 7 nieces and nephews. A private burial will be held in Alden, MI with a memorial gathering to be planned at a later date.
